Softball Recap: Kenai Central Falls Short Against Ranked Soldotna

Kenai Central faced Soldotna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Kardinals lost 24-3 to the Stars. The loss continues a trend for the Kardinals in their meetings with the Stars: they've now lost six in a row.

Kenai Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitlyn Crapps, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Kenai Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Soldotna, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1-1.
