Basketball Recap: Stockdale Takes a Loss

Stockdale came up into this matchup off a tough 39-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Goliad Tigers by a score of 23-21 on Friday. The Brahmas haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Stockdale's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Goliad, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Stockdale will host Karnes City at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goliad, they will challenge Luling at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goliad is facing Luling at the right time seeing as Luling is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
