Football Recap: High Plains Comes Up Short

After soaring to 69 points the game before, High Plains was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles 46-8. The matchup marked the Storm's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carson Swedenburg threw for 119 yards and one touchdown. Chase Owens was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Aaron Brown rushed for 33 yards.

High Plains dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
