Soccer Recap: Conneaut Area Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort LeBoeuf, Conneaut Area was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Chargers 3-2. Conneaut Area wouldn't have won without Blake White, who scored the game-winner.

Conneaut Area moved to 3-8 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Calvary Baptist Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Conneaut Area will venture away from home to challenge Slippery Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Baptist Christian Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Commodore Perry at 4:00 p.m. on October 9.
