There's no place like home for The Colony, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Everman Bulldogs 55-28 on Friday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The Colony's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendrick McClodden led the charge by rushing for 133 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave McClodden a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Gaines, who threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt.

The win got The Colony back to even at 2-2. As for Everman, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
