West Stanly had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Randleman Tigers by a score of 5-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Madi Whitley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched.
