Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Triumphs

Grants Pass won the last time they faced North Medford and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cavemen came out on top against the Black Tornado by a score of 69-60. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavemen.

When it comes to explaining why North Medford lost, don't look at Brady Patterson. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Nunez, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Grants Pass' victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for North Medford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Grants Pass and North Medford will both be playing Willamette the next time they take the court. The Black Tornado will host the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cavemen will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
