Basketball Recap: Richfield Wildcats vs. North Sanpete Hawks
The Richfield Wildcats can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They blew past North Sanpete 62-34 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Richfield who now have eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abbee Albrecht, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Albrecht has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hallie Janes, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Richfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for North Sanpete, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richfield will take on the Wasps at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Sanpete, they will be playing at home against the Templars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manti is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
