Soccer Recap: Nekoosa Falls Short of Arcadia in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nekoosa can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Arcadia Raiders on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Nekoosa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Arcadia are ranked 63rd).

Nekoosa's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Arcadia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-2-4.

As of now, neither Nekoosa nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
