Football Preview: Port Chester Rams vs. Long Island Lutheran Crusaders        
        
		
             The Port Chester Rams will challenge the Long Island Lutheran Crusaders at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Port Chester took a loss when they played away from home  last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   27-14  win over Albertus Magnus.
 Meanwhile, Long Island Lutheran got the win against Xaverian  on Saturday by a conclusive  46-20. Given the Crusaders' advantage  in MaxPreps' New York football rankings  (they are ranked 13th, while the Clippers are ranked 162nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Peyton Robinson went supernova for Long Island Lutheran, throwing for 332 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 60 yards on only seven carries.  Kameron Sullivan was  Robinson's top target, picking up 144 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
 Long Island Lutheran's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Kaiere Griffin and  Alonzo Riddick. The dominant performance gave  Griffin a new career-high in  rushing yards. Another thorn in Xaverian's side was  Kareem Vessup, who picked up  a  sack, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles.
 The  victory  got Port Chester back to even at 1-1. As for Long Island Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
