Wisconsin high school volleyball: WIAA state tournament recap

Middleton wins its second title in the last three seasons.

The WIAA boys volleyball state tournament wrapped up Saturday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Middleton finished the year with a perfect 39-0 record after sweeping Germantown (40-6) in the state championship match.

Senior Caden Van Buren tallied a match-high 20 kills for the Cardinals, and fellow senior Bryce Stuttgen had a match-best 30 assists for the champs.

Middleton has two state titles in the last three years. Last season, they finished as the runner-up.
