Softball Game Preview: Indian Creek Timberwolves vs. Somonauk Bobcats

For the second straight game, Indian Creek will face off against Somonauk. Indian Creek will challenge Somonauk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Indian Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Somonauk, taking the game 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Avery Boehne spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Gretta Oziah was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Somonauk is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Indian Creek, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
