If Springfield was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Amite on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Doyle Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Doyle, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Coincidentally, Springfield and Doyle will both be playing St. Helena College and Career Academy the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
