Douglas lost a heartbreaker the last time they played ALA - Gilbert North, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Douglas has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Douglas will be playing in front of their home fans against Rio Rico at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they will challenge Eastmark at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
