Football Game Preview: Epping/Newmarket Devils vs. Fall Mountain Wildcats

The Epping/Newmarket Devils are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against the Fall Mountain Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Epping/Newmarket was just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to Gilford.

Meanwhile, Fall Mountain came up short against Lebanon on Friday and fell 21-8.

Fall Mountain now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Epping/Newmarket, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Epping/Newmarket took their win against Fall Mountain when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 28-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
