Basketball Game Preview: High Tech SD Storm vs. Washington Rams

The High Tech SD Storm and the Washington Rams will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

Last Saturday, High Tech SD came up short against Ramona and fell 37-27. The game marked the Storm's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kylei Hayward, who posted seven points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Poema Strong, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, Washington played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 86-3 loss at the hands of Kellis. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-3.

AnyaLisa Carino was Washington's leading scorer, having posted two points.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for High Tech SD, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
