Baseball Recap: Piketon Comes Up Short

If Piketon was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Western on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redstreaks came up short against the McClain Tigers on Monday, falling 17-7. The Redstreaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Piketon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Piketon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-8 victory against Northwest on the 31st. As for McClain, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Wellston on the 2nd.
