Volleyball Recap: Mintz Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Fayetteville Christian

Mintz Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fayetteville Christian Warriors. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mintz Christian Academy took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Resa Cleveland, who had ten digs and one assist.

Coming up, Mintz Christian Academy will take on Berean Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 12th.
