Volleyball Recap: Pierce Bluejays vs. Boone Central Cardinals
Pierce won the last time they faced Boone Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bluejays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cardinals.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pierce got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 15-25, 27-25.
Nora Herian paced Pierce's offense, picking up 13 kills. Herian got some help from Adrienne Riggert and her 25 assists. Abbie Cone controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
