Volleyball Recap: West Valley Comes Up Short

West Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Ridge Sentinels.

West Valley's offense was headlined by MiaBella DePhillippo and Kamryn Hubbell, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Deonys Ioane and her two assists.

West Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mountain Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

West Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Del Sol on the 22nd. As for Mountain Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica on the 22nd.
