Silver Creek and North Harrison are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Dragons will venture away from home to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Silver Creek was handed a 42-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They slipped by New Albany 23-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since October 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for North Harrison, as they earned their first away win of the season. They really took it to Eastern for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-6 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

Silver Creek better keep an eye on Bryce Fessel. He was instrumental in North Harrison's win, rushing for 152 yards on only 13 carries. Fessel's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 136 rushing yards. Cooper Clunie was in the mix as well, providing North Harrison with one TD.

North Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. They are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Silver Creek's record now sits at 2-4. As for North Harrison, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Silver Creek couldn't quite finish off North Harrison when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fessel, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Now that the Dragons know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
