Softball Recap: Lincolnton Comes Up Short

Lincolnton lost against West Caldwell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lincolnton came up short against West Caldwell, falling 13-2. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincolnton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Hollar, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-5. As for West Caldwell, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Lincolnton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Shelby on the 17th. As for West Caldwell, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-4 victory against West Lincoln on the 18th.
