It was a good run, but Lead-Deadwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Kadoka Kougars. The Golddiggers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Kougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Lead-Deadwood may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13.

Lead-Deadwood's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Kadoka, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Lead-Deadwood has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Harding County on the 7th. As for Kadoka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Lyman on the 7th.
