Softball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Comer and Vincent had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Comer Tigers came up short against the Vincent Yellow Jackets on Monday, falling 24-11. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Kylie Harrison was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Nema Holley, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Comer now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Vincent, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
