Basketball Recap: Cumberland County Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Cumberland County won the last time they faced Metcalfe County and things went their way on Friday too. The Cumberland County Panthers came out on top against the Metcalfe County Hornets by a score of 65-57.

Cumberland County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points over those games. As for Metcalfe County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Looking ahead, Cumberland County will head out to challenge South Warren at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Metcalfe County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Campbellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Metcalfe County is facing Campbellsville at the right time seeing as Campbellsville is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
