Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

The St. Paul Indians came up short against the Waverly Bulldogs on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.

Kyndahl Venneman paced St. Paul's offense, picking up six kills. Venneman got some help from Ava Dent and her 14 assists.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 10-22. As for Waverly, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-14-1 record this season.

St. Paul didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Southern Coffey County on the 21st. As for Waverly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lebo on the 25th.
