Baseball Game Preview: Crowley Eagles vs. North Crowley Panthers

For the second straight game, Crowley will face off against North Crowley. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Crowley has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Crowley will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against North Crowley on Tuesday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Panthers 12-11.

The team relied heavily on Brodie Chambers, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Eli Washington was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

North Crowley dropped their record down to 8-20 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Crowley, their win ended an 11-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-20.
