Soccer Recap: Beaufort Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence last Tuesday, Beaufort Academy came back down to earth. The Beaufort Academy Eagles lost 4-1 to the Bridges Prep Buccaneers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Brayden Savage, which was the first he's scored this season.

Beaufort Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bridges Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Beaufort Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Patrick Henry Academy on the 11th. Bridges Prep has also already played their next match (against Barnwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
