Santa Rosa Academy won the last time they faced California Military Institute and things went their way on Friday too. The Rangers blew past the Rough Riders, posting a 46-14 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Santa Rosa Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Sharp out in front who rushed for 81 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also threw for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. Those 81 rushing yards gave Sharp a new career-high. Another receiver making a difference was Dominick Thomas, who gained 88 total yards and two touchdowns.

Santa Rosa Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for California Military Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Rosa Academy will square off against Western Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 6. As for California Military Institute, they will challenge Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
