Reavis and Oak Lawn are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rams will welcome the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Reavis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Lemont hit Reavis with a four-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 9-1 to the Lemont HS. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Lemont HS recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Reavis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Aragones, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Aragones is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Oak Lawn came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Romeoville as they made off with a 12-2 win. Oak Lawn might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Kaitlyn Berkery made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). Berkery was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Katie Casey was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Kamya Feigl was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Oak Lawn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Oak Lawn, their victory bumped their record up to 17-12.
