Basketball Recap: Oakwood Comes Up Short

Oakwood lost against Monterey back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Oakwood Hawks fell 64-55 to the Monterey Dores. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Dores 19-9 in the first quarter.

Oakwood's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Monterey, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

Oakwood has already played their next game, a 71-47 defeat against Alisal on the 14th. As for Monterey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-66 win against Palma on the 14th.
