Basketball Game Preview: Moorcroft Wolves vs. New Underwood Tigers

The Moorcroft Wolves and the New Underwood Tigers will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Moorcroft is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Newell, posting a 73-9 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, New Underwood hadn't done well against Faith recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. New Underwood simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Faith 70-41. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got New Underwood back to even at 3-3. As for Moorcroft, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Moorcroft didn't have too much breathing room in their match against New Underwood in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moorcroft since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
