The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lamar Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Randle, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Lamar Consolidated will challenge Victoria East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Randle, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Randle face off against Fort Bend Kempner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
