Soccer Recap: Acton-Boxborough Takes a Loss

Acton-Boxborough fell victim to Beverly and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Acton-Boxborough have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Acton-Boxborough now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Beverly, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2-2.

Coming up, Acton-Boxborough will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Concord-Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. As for Beverly, they will head out on the road to challenge Winthrop at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beverly will be up against Winthrop's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.27 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
