Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Windsor Locks posted their closest victory since January 8th on Friday. They skirted past the East Granby Crusaders 50-47. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Locks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sincere Monroe, who went 7 of 17 en route to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Monroe's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of J'Vion LaBoy, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Windsor Locks' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for East Granby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Windsor Locks will take on Canton at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Windsor Locks is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.6 points per game this season. As for East Granby, they will face off against Stafford at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
