Soccer Game Preview: Sycamore vs. West Creek

The Sycamore War Eagles will face off against the West Creek Coyote at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sycamore barely beat Montgomery Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The War Eagles never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Sycamore needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, West Creek made sure to put some goals up on the board against White House-Heritage on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 4-0 win. It was an even better day for Javian Daley as he scored three goals for his team.

Sycamore's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for West Creek, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5-1 record.

Sycamore came out on top in a nail-biter against West Creek in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the War Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Coyote turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
