Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williamsville South). They blew past the West Seneca East Trojans 66-37 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-15.

West Seneca East's loss came despite strong showings from Madelyn Marcezin and Hailey Alba. Marcezin went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points and six steals, while Alba posted ten points along with six steals and five boards. Those six steals gave Alba a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Williamsville South and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for West Seneca East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Williamsville South will challenge Nichols on Monday. As for West Seneca East, they will square off against Lake Shore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
