Soccer Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cottonwood Colts. One thing that didn't help Jordan's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Javier Moreno.

Kevin Rodea and Will Gonsur scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cottonwood, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jordan will square off against rival Tooele at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cottonwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Murray at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
