DuPont Manual won the last time they faced Floyd Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Crimsons had just enough and edged out the Highlanders 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering DuPont Manual's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 31st in Kentucky, while Floyd Central are ranked 89th in Indiana).

DuPont Manual's victory bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Floyd Central, they dropped their record down to 6-8-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, DuPont Manual will welcome Louisville Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. DuPont Manual will need to watch out since Louisville Collegiate have now posted at least four goals in their last nine contests. As for Floyd Central, they will challenge Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
