Baseball Recap: White Deer Takes a Loss

The White Deer Bucks came up short against the Follett Panthers on Monday, falling 15-5. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caynden Mynear was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Littleman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

White Deer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Follett, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

While White Deer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
