It was a good run, but Columbia unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 10-4 to the Livingston Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since May 18, 2024.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Livingston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Columbia and Livingston should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Cougars will square off against Becton at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (81 vs. 246). Meanwhile, Livingston (ranked 50th) will meet Montclair (ranked 194th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
