Basketball Recap: Mount Juliet Comes Up Short

After soaring to 72 points the game before, Mount Juliet was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Hendersonville Commandos and fell 58-27. The match marked the Golden Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mount Juliet's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Hendersonville, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Mount Juliet will face off against Oakland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mount Juliet is facing Oakland at the right time seeing as Oakland is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Hendersonville, they will square off against Beech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
