Volleyball Recap: Logos Prep Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Logos Prep Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Divine Savior Academy - Sienna last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Bay Area Christian Broncos on Thursday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

While Logos Prep Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bay Area Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Christin Newman paced Logos Prep Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Newman got some help from Emma Rose Lieke and her 19 assists.

Bay Area Christian found their leader in sophomore Addison Wilson, who had 34 digs and two assists. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

Logos Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-12-1. As for Bay Area Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12-1.

Logos Prep Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Fort Bend Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Bay Area Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Second Baptist on the 23rd.
