Marion is 6-0 against Ellwood Christian since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Marion Rams will be playing at home against the Ellwood Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Marion is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Selma just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Saturday. The game between them and the Saints didn't end well, with Marion falling 49-33. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Saints are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Ellwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-36 fall against Linden.

Marion's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Ellwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Everything went Marion's way against Ellwood Christian in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Marion made off with a 53-30 win. Will Marion repeat their success, or does Ellwood Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
