Softball Recap: Central Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Central Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Washington Union Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-9 back in April.

Central Valley Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callie Lenaburg, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Central Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Washington Union, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-15 record.

Central Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Immanuel on the 9th. As for Washington Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-2 loss against Exeter on the 9th.
