Springville is 9-1 against St. Clair County since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Springville Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints at 4:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Springville challenged Fort Payne on Monday. Springville received a blow as they fell 41-24 to Fort Payne. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Wildcats are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Clair County). They breezed by Lincoln to the tune of 80-44 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Fighting Saints as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

St. Clair County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Springville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Springville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. Clair County when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 67-63 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
