Baseball Game Preview: Camden Central Lions vs. Dresden Lions

Camden Central will challenge Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Camden Central has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Camden Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Harpeth on Friday. They lost 13-1 to the Indians.

Camden Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carl Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dresden). They blew past Lake County 22-6 on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Camden Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Dresden, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

Camden Central took their victory against Dresden when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will Camden Central repeat their success, or does Dresden has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
