            Softball Recap: Farwell Eagles vs. Pinconning Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            Farwell's game  on Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pinconning Spartans by a score of  7-4. The  win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Lindsay Esterline spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate,  Haiden Cassiday was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacey Stover, who  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  runs.
Farwell now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pinconning, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Coming up, Farwell will face off against Beaverton at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pinconning, they will square off against Tawas Area at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
