Basketball Recap: Roman Cooper and Noel Green Secure Win for Homeschool Resource Center

HomeSchool Resource Center lost to Kankakee Trinity Academy back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Patriots strolled past Kankakee Trinity Academy with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. That looming 63-49 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Patriots yet this season.

Leading HomeSchool Resource Center to victory were Noel Green and Roman Cooper. Green dropped a double-double with 19 points and 22 rebounds, while Cooper posted 27 points. The game was Green's fourth in a row with at least 19 points. Aiden Colon was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

HomeSchool Resource Center smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

HomeSchool Resource Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-41 victory against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family on the 22nd. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-42 win against Illinois Lutheran on the 24th.
