Basketball Game Preview: Queen Creek Bulldogs vs. Red Mountain Mountain Lions

The Queen Creek Bulldogs will square off against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Queen Creek took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Saturday. They walked away with a 38-27 win over Camelback.

Queen Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jessenia Attson, who posted four points and 11 boards. Izzy Motter was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Red Mountain waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Dragons 67-22. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-4.

Red Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Queen Creek, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Queen Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Red Mountain in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, winning 43-34. Will Queen Creek repeat their success, or does Red Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
